Wow that was incredibly fast. I swear I checked the permit portal only a couple weeks ago and there were no results, yet it was issued April 1. Obviously the transformer is still needed but I'll keep an eye on the location and post any updates. Separately, another permit was issued to install an 8 car charging station at the Chevy dealership just days before this one.

I thought for sure this one would end being being at the Auburn Buc-ee's. A bit further away from 280 than I'd like but looks pretty good for I-85. Still preferable over the existing one.
It does look like they have a pull through stall dedicated for folks pulling a trailer, but they painted the arrows the wrong way.

Thank goodness.....I am so tired of the original SC location way off the highway....will help on those panhandle trips.

Just stopped by, transformer is installed but there is no power at the moment. There’s also some loose cut cables and useful signage telling you which stalls to plug in with.

Really nice signage here too. Still not available in car navigation though.
