Not sure about this location, haven’t been there lately either, but other malls have done this (Everett, alderwood, northgate, etc) as real estate gets more scarce and $$$

Drove by today, big sign says Blackstone Construction, which matches permit.

Bunch of conduit coming out of ground. This might be open in a couple weeks.

Seriously? The parking lot is gigantic and it’s a crappy mall. It really gets that congested?

Just the area near the Nordstrom Rack, which is apparently where they are putting in the chargers. The rest of the giant parking lot is pretty open, which was my point.

Stopped by Tuesday around 1:30 pm. Only activity was a gaggle of contractors coordinating ongoing work. As usual they were tight lipped about schedule so I did not push it. Counted 12 conduits at the curb but 5 cabinets.

You can see that there's a spot with conduit stubs sticking up for an additional cabinet to be installed in line with the others. So, either there will be another cabinet delivered and this site will open with 12 stalls OR they are pre-running the conduit for a potential future 2 stall expansion and the site will open with 10 stalls.

Does the 2:1 pairing of stalls to cabinets mean these will be at least 120kw? Or do the 72kw stalls also get paired 2:1?

All supercharger cabinets power 2 pedestals. 72 kW superchargers guarantee that much output to each pedestal while regular superchargers can give up to 150 kW to one while the other gets whatever is left over.
