Thanks to John Fitness on the NZ EV Owners FB group:

6 stall 150 kW coming to Sylvia Park.

My understanding is that John's source is quite reliable ;)

    That's a lot more convenient than K road. Woo-hoo.

official tesla supercharger or chargenet hypercharger?

can't imagine i'll ever use this location either way, but always good to have more charging infrastructure.

    It’s definitely a supercharger.

A flurry of Supercharger activity in NZ. Silvia park is very much real, the stalls are already going up:

Appearing in Plugshare doesn't mean anything, anyone can add entries there. Doesn't appear to be any checkins or photos of anyone charging.

Went and had a look today
    6 supercharges confimed
    Looks very close to opening

The carpark ramps are quite narrow with high curbs, reminds me of Tesla Krd supercharger exit. S and X drivers
would need to be extra careful

    Access carpark 5 level 3

Interesting that after ages of not much happening, three have opened within weeks of each other. I guess it's not too surprising for a small country.

It'll be thanks to all of us getting Model 3s. Tesla went from selling maybe 20-30 cars a quarter in NZ to selling a few hundred a quarter.
