I asked my sales advisor during a test drive yesterday as to when the stone lake charger might open, and he said by the end of September. I also asked if he thought it would be V3 and he didn't know.

In my experience, the people working in showrooms and service centers have no real information about supercharger openings. I mean they are generally aware if one is under construction, but there information is no better and usually worse than what you would find in this thread.

My experience is that this extends well past the topic of Superchargers.

Impressive! I was there on Sunday to check the progress and there were just cables sticking out of the ground. Moving fast, this Supercharger can't open soon enough.

The charger pedestals were all covered today so they're probably waiting on something. The meter was in place, in any case.

Anyway, wheel stops are installed as of today.

Supercharger "Parking Only" signs being installed on existing posts in front of each SC space, 1/3 done.

Last week, the Landscape team were installing and testing the sprinklers.

Most spaces have partial shade, several totally shade. At 103 its important!

Went by there today and spoke to a guy out there who’s working on the installation. He couldn’t give me a definite ETA, but said it’s very close. It looks like in 2 weeks or so. He also mentioned that they went through hell with Austin Energy with this location, but Mr. Musk will got it done to get his customers taken care of. They started this project before the San Antonio (Huebner location), which was just completed and available today. They started the stone lake location five weeks before San Antonio!

Lots of trees around for shade. Great area for picnicking and Whole Foods is a few steps away.

It says that they passed the final electrical inspection on Wednesday.

I think that they're just waiting for Austin Energy to plug in a meter. That could take an unbounded amount of time.

Tesla or a sub-contractor needs to come by and check it out before it is turned on. Hopefully this will be within the next few days.
