Unfortunately I can't edit the first post, so here is an update:

Plus as a bonus: Handy guide to checking council records for DA updates! (Google Sheet link)
This is basically a fancy list of links, but the idea is that you choose a site that no-one has checked recently and then browse the DAs for progress - then update with your name and date so people know it has been checked.

I suspect that its really a combination of numbers and distances - with fewer cars visiting and the (relatively compared to the mainland) short distance for trips it's probably a lower priority than some of the regional mainland sites.

I'd love to drive my S around Tassie, but to be honest it's dramatically more cost effective to fly and hire a car than to pay for the ferry. Admittedly that would mean putting up with an inferior car, which makes other destinations more appealing. I'm sure that I'm not alone here.

Hopefully you will get one soon.

@meloccom is it possible to set this thread as a wiki thread so that I can edit the first post? Then I'll update it. Even my "update" post is very out of date :)

    I've done it!
Ferry is definitely a nuisance though, takes a lot of time and not very comfortable.
Driving around Tassie was pretty easy with the usual planning...

Thanks Chuq, TMC Oracles and Meloccom. Could this please be pinned and maybe unpin some of the chargers that are now open?

    Thanks @meloccom!

I've updated the first post. The thread can now be pinned, renamed, if you would like it to!

I've taken out the NZ ones since they have their own forum now. Perhaps @Miggy would like his post moved to a similar thread in the NZ forum?

Welcome to delete my update (post #3) as well, since it's now redundant!

Does Australia have any v3 Superchargers?
Now that my SR+ will have an update to charge faster (with v36.1), it will be interesting as to where these chargers are located.
