What: Location survey done for site design of a future supercharger of unknown size at a Wawa in Bel Air North, ~30 miles northeast of Baltimore along US-1.
Address: 601 Hoagie Dr, Bel Air, MD 21014

This site isn't yet on Tesla's map as a "coming soon" location and given that they are doing the site design survey now, it likely won't get built any time too soon. Eventually building permits will be applied for through Harford County. Their online permit portal can be found HERE, in case anyone wants to keep an eye out for relevant permit activity at the Wawa address.

Site is now on Tesla's map with a "coming soon" target opening date of Q1 2022. I checked for permits, but didn't see anything yet.

The building permit for this supercharger location was issued on 2021-09-20. Description: INSTALLATION OF AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION UTILIZING THE EXISTING ON-SITE PARKING STALLS

The online record doesn't show any inspections having taken place yet, so it's likely not yet under construction. But I wouldn't be surprised if construction started sometime in the next month.

I stopped by the Bel Air North SC construction site late this afternoon as today’s snow was beginning. Some progress. Does the dark green or black cabinet house the long awaited transformer? I neglected to photograph where the electric meter mounted. Just a hole with cardboard showing. So some progress since last posted update last month/year.
