I also asked if there was a grace period for free parking and he alluded to maybe 15 minutes would get you in and out with out having to pay but I will believe that when I try it.

Here's what my SOP would be if I were a local..... go into the garage shortly before closing, say about a half hour prior to closing.. Stay in the car, do my charge and then leave after the toll booth closes. It's like a safety thing that you can get OUT of a garage after hours.

I think many parking garages have a "lost ticket" or "overnight" rate that it might ask you to pay instead. As far as safety goes, you might be able to leave, but the car might not be able.

In some cases there's a way to call someone to come let you out. I imagine there's a fee involved there as well.

Someone on fb is reporting that this supercharger is now up and running. Can someone confirm? Last time I was there the garage closed at 10pm so you'd have to check soon. I'm out of town or else I'd head over myself.
Gasp! It's showing up as available on my Tesla app (though doesn't say number of stalls available, which all the others do - so that's suspicious). I'm not able to head over now, will check it out tomorrow

I tried Bellevue this morning, marked on the map as open but when I plugged in no joy. I was at 90 percent charge but pretty sure that had no bearing on this. Will try again after my appointment.

Well if that’s the case, that will officially comfirm that you have to get out of town in order for these local superchargers to get activated.

Sadly not up yet 🙁 Construction tape gone but it looks like they don’t have any power. Button on the handle doesn’t trigger charge port, and plugging it in just says “Ready to charge.” Oh well, getting closer!
