The “closed” is for the service center chargers which were never open to the public. It’s not referring to the Bellevue Square parking garage chargers, which at one point had permits filed. Those chargers still have a blue dot over them.

That being said, if permitting records show that this permit is expired, I think that even the blue dot should be removed from the map for accuracy.

An expired permit means almost nothing. Almost always, you can just pay a fee and it is reactivated. Though if the building code changed in the interim, you might need a quick review to ensure that you are still up to code and if not, then you'll have to revise to meet the changed requirements. But the point is that it has almost no impact on the likelihood of a location being built and it doesn't mean that a new permit application will have to be filed.

While that's true, for the sake of accuracy of the map I propose we draw the line at permit expired for removing the blue dot. This way abandoned supercharger projects don't linger on the map forever. If they do renew the permit, the blue dot can always be added again?

@Chuq any thoughts on what to do about locations with expired permits?

I don't think this permit is for an official Tesla Supercharger. It seems more like a destination charger.

This is great news, though I’m confused about the Bellevue Square location. Which garage will it be in and where will it be located?

Still super exciting to see this location resurrected...now with two potential SC installs!

8 or more stalls at 1 Bellevue Way I'm sure. The loss of motorcycle stalls or any stalls must be noted for property parking stall count requirements.

The Bellevue Square location appears to be in the old JC Penny (and later the also-shuttered Whole Foods) parking structure.

The 1 Bellevue Way address appears to be the parking structure for the mixed-use building that includes West Elm near Old Town.

That little parking structure right at the front door to the old Whole Foods? Forget it then - these spots will never be open.

If they put it on the backside of that parking lot, or maybe on the 3rd floor or something.

When I go to Bellevue square that’s the lot I park in. I was just in Tigard, OR at Washington Square mall and there were Teslas EVERYWHERE. the supercharger was completely full (12 spots I think) and they have backup destination looking charges too and those were almost completely full too. Bellevue will probably be even worse.

Yeah, 10 stalls was a bit light for Tigard I'm sure the Supercharger team knew that and have other locations close by in the pipeline.
