The problem is getting power to them, especially if the electric bill hasn't been paid.

Generators were brought in when Harris Ranch went down for a few days in November, 2014.

Generators would be great. Temporary superchargers may not always fit the bill. Every SC location should have a way to hook generators in as necessary.

If anyone is in the vicinity of Bethesda, you might want to swing by the Mall to see if there is any activity related to shutting down the temporary Supercharger which is scheduled to happen today.

At some point Tesla should create a few trailers that incorporate generators with temporary superchargers that they can bring to sites that are down for various issues or to special events. Would only take 4-5 of them to be able to get to any site in the country fairly quickly.

And wouldn't require any tie-in to the existing SC installations either.

Just drove by - SC is in use by an MS and an MX. No signage indicating when/if it will close.

Im pretty sure it will stay up until the Laurel Supercharger is open.

I don't know, but from my understanding, this site has been listed as "temporary" since its introduction.

Charging worked- and I had the best charge rate I have ever seen at this location. 212 mi/hr is much better than my previous top of 125 mi/hr.

About a week ago, I got 278mi/hr rate at that supercharger. Couldn't believe my eyes!

Is this still open? I may need to charge here tonight for a few minutes. It is not listed on plug share as a supercharger.
