Maybe because there were 6 other cars there? I’m sure the spots are plenty big but it can be nice not to have to park next to others. IMHO.

I've seen it with out people there as well. But whatever floats thier boat.

I think my main concern is that one of these folks will try this and go over the curb and take out a pedestal. We were sitting in the car and the kid got out and was yelling at his dad and laughing at him that he wasn't getting close enough.

Maybe one side is more accessible as far as entry and exit?

I've seen people do that at Chico CA also, I just assume they don't know any better.

Well don’t be an idiot like me. Only one person charging when I pulled in last week. Decided to take the spot across the road from the other car, and thought the latest software severely reduced my charging speed; only got 54 kw. Yeah, I picked the 3b spot; the first car you see below was on 3a. Weird how they wired this one up but my stupidity, Always look.
