After Fenway snuck in under our noses I started poking around on town websites for other locations listed as coming soon on Tesla’s site. Looks like Braintree is underway in the permitting process as of January. If you’re into town meeting notes the second link below contains some interesting tidbits on Tesla’s strategy as well as the kinds of obstacles Tesla has to overcome in each new town.

Here is the TL;DR: 8 superchargers in L2 of the Sears parking lot in South Shore Plaza.

I serve on the Ashland, MA Planning Board, and I'm always surprised at how many people watch our meetings on cable. I'm sure they're quite boring if you're not involved. Also our meetings almost never go to 11, but then we've never had a Tesla application. (If we ever do, I'll post about it here since it will be public record.)

Will do. I’m pretty close by. I was in Primark last week and looked out there from inside the store and thought that would be a decent spot, too. I think I saw workers out there as well but didn’t get a closer look.

Nothing yet, except a few parking spots blocked by cones. -shrug-

As I posted this it suddenly struck me that the chargers are listed as being on level 2. Oops! I’ll take a look up there next time I go by as you can see the power lines climbing up the support pillars.

This gives a better idea of their location on level two. The open space next to the red model 3 is the first in the row and should extend eight spaces over towards the mall for each of the eight stalls. Cabinets and equipment are on ground/level 1 below.
