A new Supercharger is under construction in Brighton Colorado! This Supercharger is located at a Kum & Go (5112 E Bromley Ln, Brighton, CO 80603). Photos by Michell Blackmore on a tip from @ColoradoEV on the Supercharge Info forum. Will update the map! Note: This Supercharger is part of a double find which also includes a Supercharger in Thornton Colorado
Long time lurker but this is right out my backyard (almost). I can drop by and check for updates after work.
We were there on Sunday. No progress seen. All of the equipment and concrete bases were still just sitting in the lot.
It's a bit of a drive for us so definitely stop by when you can and let us know when you see some progress!
I drove by yesterday and it looked exactly the same. Pretty much zero progress but I believe it's all coming in waves. Hopefully after the Thornton one is finished that team will move on to this Brighton one.
Does anybody think those two large boxes under the blue tarps might be indicative that this site might be a V3?
It most likely is v3 but since they haven't started construction yet, it's hard to say with 100% certainty.
Needed to get out of the house today due to my wife "social distancing" ourselves.. (sigh) So told them we're going to Brighton to look at a unfinished supercharger. LOL Kinda looks like the last pictures but with the conduit runs. Pedestals are still not placed so there's still a rather long large hole in the ground. Didn't get a picture as the place was REALLY busy. Have to say the inside was pretty freaking nice for a gas station, only touched what I had to, wife had disinfecting wipes for me when I got back to the car, she wouldn't even let me in until I "washed" my hands. Ready for this to be over with, but that's a topic for another thread.
Looks like the transformer is in but not a lot of progress since February. They do have things cordoned off now. There's a bench!
Hey, @X105-Strike! Any progress on this place since the last post? It ought to be further along now. Anyone? THANKS! Mac
I drive by there to go home every time I visit Prairie Center but nothing has been happening so far. Went and snagged Arby's last night. I can drive on by for a closer look, vs from the freeway offramp and see if anything else has been done.
I stopped by yesterday afternoon. There seems to be little bit of progress. There was more concrete work done compared to pictures from Apr 4. Concrete forms for the posts have been installed.
