Does anyone know what the Exit number off I 81 is where the new Superchargers are located? For those of us that attend the races in Bristol this is exciting news!

It's the first exit as you are crossing into Tennessee from Virginia. Right after the TN welcome center exit.

I just stop by the area and it appears the construction has already begun. The charge will be next-door to the boot barn.

I hadn't seen that paperwork before on other sites. Did they just leave it laying around?

* Tesla supercharging division info (address in Palo Alto not Fremont, phone number)

I stopped by yesterday while passing through and there were several workmen going at it. There was a lot of stainless steel piping rising from the ground and a backhoe that was active. I was with people so I wasn't able to ask when they projected finishing construction, but it was comforting to see the work was proceeding without delays

Construction crews usually will not typically discuss completion dates. Even after they finish it take a month to get the juice turned on, everything checked out, etc.

A Fair question. I don't think it's unreasonable to look at the Charleston construction schedule as an example. It could very well be the same crew that does it too. Of course, no guarantees though right?

The Myrtle Beach location was complete in 24 days. I think a lot of the time is waiting for the utilities to allow the power to be turned on.

It looks like progress has been made but the recent rain may have slowed them down. Probably a few more weeks to go. The transformer and meter are in. The stalls are not all complete. This will be an 8 stall site. They will be back in. They are not installed like the ones in Charleston.
