This is on the Tesla app tonight. We already have eyes on the Katella location in Anaheim. Is the Beach blvd spot perhaps the new Buena Park supercharger? Anyone in Buena Park want to do some scouting?
6911 Brenner Ave, Buena Park - someone go drive by...it’s on the map in the Nav as temporary closure. Level 4 of parking structure.
Urban chargers going in on the 3rd floor of the source parking lot in Buena Park even though nav says lvl 4. Couldn’t get a complete count of chargers but looks to be 16-24 of them. Looks almost compete.
@ecarfan could we perhaps have these posts split to a separate thread? @Chuq @MarcoRP @BlueShift 6911 Brenner Ave, Buena Park, 72kw, exact count forthcoming but looks like at least 16
This deserve a dedicated thread. Whoo hoo. More to alleviate the traffic issue in Santa Ana and the new Katella location.
Nice addition to the area. I wonder how traffic will cope, though, when having to stop and pull back into the stalls, especially since some impatient drivers love tailgating in the parking structures.
24 chargers on level 3E/3K 22 chargers on main size: 2 additional chargers (including accessible) across the stairs: additional view:
I went to this mall only once a few months ago. This mall is so dead, I walked in and out in 15 minutes, unlikely charging spots will be ICEed. Hopefully Tesla owner can bring some business to this location.
I go to this mall about 1x a month. Stunned this escaped me... Turning off the ramp and turning right into the aisles are tight as well as leaving the aisles and turning left.
Wow... So many stalls. Panaramic pic looks awesome. Reminds me of Riverside where all the stalls are in a single line
It looks like 24 total. 22 of them are in the main 3E/3K area and 2 additional are separate across the stairs, unless I'm reading WalterB's post wrong...
It looks like this mall has a lot of Asian restaurants and stores? Can anyone comment as to how safe it is? It has to be more interesting than the other two super chargers in Downey.
It's quite dangerous. You can really spend a lot of money there. $12 margaritas at La Huasteca, $6 lattes at Basilur, $6 soft serve at Honey Mee and $10 cheese mini cheese cakes at that cheese cake place that way more than Uncle Tetsu. I spent $4 for an espresso shot at the bakery / jeans shop. And worst of all $13 dollars for mediocre ramen at Yoshiharu. That was pure robbery!
