Supercharger - Bulls

I think the Supercharging site drought is officially over. Bulls has just appeared on the map today!

Given that the other recent sites that have popped up on the map have started construction not long after, that opening date is likely a good indication of when it will be available.

And Rotorua, New Plymouth and Paraparaumu (all listed as Q3 2023).

As well as Auckland North (listed as 2023) reappearing.

Bulls is great. I've got a M3 LR and can just make it from Wellington to Taupo in one trip (have done it once when departing about 5pm but would otherwise stop for a break).

As crucial as Mangaweka has been to the Supercharging network, it really does suck. From the almost non-existent room to manoeuvre, the gravel pit, and worst of all, the fact the cafe doesn't do takeaway coffee (presumably for some bizarre ideological reason)!!

Historically the grey markers on the Tesla site have not been indicative of the final location, although for many New Zealand sites they have been spot on.

If that's the case here - it might be worth checking the car park behind the Subway:

So I just swung by, and one of the guys doing the install wandered over for a chat. They are aiming for having them livened up for the weekend, and as well as the 2 cabinets/6stands there now, they have already done the ducting for another 3 stands (and I assume 1 more cabinet).
