I don't think anyone really knows. Calabasas was approved years ago, permits issued, and equipment moved on site. Then... nothing. After an extended time, the Tesla equipment was removed, and this site was considered dead. Once revived, things moved pretty quickly.

Usually for long delays like this, there's a property issue, e.g. easements needed on an otherwise uninvolved parcel.

My best guess, they just de-prioritized it. There were no pending issues on the City's side. Any easement issues would have been resolved prior to issuance of the permits the 1st time.

The cars don't all fetch updates from the Tesla Mothership database at the same time. Give it a day or two.

Santa Maria finally showed up in my car at 5:30 pm yesterday but this location is still hidden.

Have to drive my wife to the airport, and leave around 10am, but I'm only like 10 minutes from the new Calabasas Supercharger, so I'm open to meeting at around 9am, if others are interested.... not sure how many people will want to get there at 8am on a Sunday, but if that works....
