So they delayed starting construction on this Supercharger for over a year because of a fire that started 5 days ago? Time travelers confirmed.
No of course not, and no one is making that claim . Other factors that we have no visibility into delayed this location.

What I'm saying is that no matter what the previous delays have been, I don't think you're going to see any progress in the next couple of weeks. People have other things to deal with.

I’m gonna go when I am back in town and talk to someone there about it. Great stop since closer to the canyons I like up on piuma and stunt so I don’t have to top up in Westlake, although all my canyons are gone now.
I’m on the plane heading home now. I go out there often but I live in Westwood so it’s a hike but I’m there a lot. I’ll have info soon

How busy are the two nearby Thousand Oaks locations? Perhaps demand isn't enough to warrant building this location yet. But then if the crates with gear are on-site they've already spent that money...

I propose we create the Southern California Supercharger Construction Crew (SCSCC), a group of Tesla vigilantes that spends weekends and evenings uncreating and installing Supercharger stations to get things moving. We just need one person who understands the electrical stuff so no one dies. I'm good with a shovel - happy to do some trench digging...

I hope they don’t abandon this site. The closest supercharging to us in Woodland Hills is either Thousand Oaks or Burbank or down by Culver City, all of which could take a good 20-30 minutes to get to with moderate traffic.
Agreed. I believe one is supposed to go at the Westfield in sherman Oaks too... but I’d much rather finally get this one up and going in Calabasas. I honestly don’t understand what’s going on with it.
I wonder if they are holding off installation until the newer higher power chargers are available.
