At Camberwell Place Shopping Centre. Looks like 5 stalls, bases only at the moment.

Will post pics when I get the OK.

Note - this is yet another site that Tesla would have known was going ahead before the end of last year, yet wasn't added to the "coming soon" map which was updated on 1 Jan 2020!

Interesting trivia that may or may not mean anything - the centre is owned by the same company that owns Karingal Hub, which was thought to be the most likely location for the Frankston location. Properties Archive - ISPT

V3s are 4 stalls to a cabinet so if anything it's probably the opposite!

Also the location - V3s are more suited to highway stops where you want to fill up and go as quickly as possible.

Seems an awfully odd spot only 7kms from Richmond SC when there is only one other one in all of Melbourne. I wonder if Richmond is going to close perhaps.

I highly doubt that, too convenient next to the Monash

Richmond is regularly full, so more options in the inner east make sense as Richmond would be difficult to upgrade. Mind you, something a bit further out in say Dandenong would be useful as well for coming back from the peninsula of you needed a top off.

If they made Richmond v3s and people only had to stop for 15 mins I think that would go along way to resolving the congestion issue.

That’s what the Frankston one will be for, right next to peninsula link.

Inside. Just after the current Tesla/EV charger (level 1), keep going past it, probably 50m further up the slope, at the end of the ramp as you start to turn up to level 2. So would probably describe it as Level 1a (mid?)
