Supercharger - Carlisle (Middlesex Township), PA

No, it's a new location under construction across the street from the Flying J / Dunkin Donuts. It would be roughly 1700 Harrisburg Pike on the other side of the I-81 interchange. They put in a dedicated light so it should be decent ingress / egress.

I created a Google Map and put a pin where I understand the location to be. I believe I can see the A&D Auto Group building in your panorama. Does this appear to be the right location: Sheetz with Supercharger in Carlisle

Someone with more expertise than me should be able to find the building permit that will have the exact address for this new construction.

FYI - @BlueShift
That's the location. They use the Embers Road light for the entrance and then a right in / right out closer to the A&D side (actually where I took the pictures from).

UPDATE:

After zooming through supercharge.info to the google map the Sheetz pin showed up as 1720 Harrisburg Pike, Carlisle, PA
Google Maps

Also here's a local article from May where they hinted at "electric vehicle charging": Cumberlink

That Sheetz pin was not there earlier. :) Love seeing maps evolve before our very eyes.

I moved my pin to the center of that grassy area as it sounds like the station occupies that whole polygon between Embers Drive, Harrisburg Pike, A&D Auto Group, and the old hotel.

^ Ignoring Harrisburg, PA

This seems to be a great location for I-81, helping people to skip significant diversions in Hagerstown, MD and Harrisburg, PA.
It's also a smaller diversion from I-76 than Harrisburg, PA for people heading towards Philadelphia, PA. King of Prussia, PA and Phildelphia, PA are both on Tesla's map and at least one are needed for that stretch
Distance to Falls Creek, PA show the need for Bellefonte, PA (Tesla 2017 map), and Erwin, NY's distance suggests Williamsport, PA (not on Tesla's map) as a required location.

Drove by late Saturday. The hotels behind this place are creepy as all hell. Broken windows. rooms open to the outside. Plants growin inside. TVs on the curb. Looks like the walking dead behind this Sheetz. I was so enthralled with the scene I didn't get any photos :( my bad. Neither the Sheetz or chargers were open.

I used to stay in that hotel every year for a Carlisle car event. Used to be THE place to be! That was probably around early 2000s. Slowly declined and last time I stayed there was maybe 2010? Was out there two years ago and drove through the site, at night. Bad idea - spooky!

Build and they will come... Beginning of an urban renewal project?

Will this location get the new "urban supercharger"?

The pictures appear to show a single post/foundation, not the typical double post that we are used to.

Perhaps this is why this location does not appear on Tesla's future maps?

This was on Friday the 15th. Not sure when the Sheetz is opening, but they look very close.
