@MarcoRP , should the Supercharge.info entry be updated? Looks like the Superchargers here only charge at up to 56 kW currently. In the future, they will be installing 12 (v3) Superchargers.
Am I allowed to be surprised by 56kW?It could actually be less than 72kW. We've seen 2 flavors of output for these temporary pallets with urban supercharger. Most of them have been limited to 50kW. But on installs that are a little more permanent we've seen them provide up to the full 72kW that urban superchargers are capable of. Because the power feed is being run out to the pallets in conduit, this one looks like the latter to me so I'd expect 72kW there. But don't be surprised if it's only 50.
It's interesting, this location has now disappeared from the Tesla "Find Us" map. So has the second St. George location.
And also the South 300 West, Salt Lake City Supercharger.
We charged here on 03/17/2021 with 20% charge (and fully preconditioned). The highest rate we saw was 45 kW after >20m and testing multiple stalls. I would avoid this location for now.Anyone visited the Cedar City Supercharger since Jan 8th? Was it still 56 kW?
It cost you $4.62 to add 63 miles?I charged there on July 14th. I could have made beaver, but needed a restroom break and beverage.
I started out with 52kw and finished with 51kw.
I was the second car when I arrived and by the time I left it was full and I left when another vehicle arrived, as I had enough to make beaver at 80mph.
Yes. Cedar City is a useful stop if heading up to Cedar Breaks National Monument (10,000 feet) or Brian Head ski area. Otherwise, it is helpful only for really slow supercharging cars, such as my S-60 — 56 kW is plenty quick by my standards! With Beaver and St. George only being 105 miles apart, Cedar City should be treated as an emergency stop in the event of bad weather, when towing or when visiting the immediate area.
