Apparently there wasn't a thread for Centralia yet so I am starting one.

Please update with capacity, time of day, and wait time if you are using this supercharger in the next few days. I'm heading south on Sunday for the eclipse and it would be helpful to know what to expect in Centralia.

Don't forget to check Plugshare, too. I'm more likely to comment on a Supercharger there than I am to comment here.

An owner I know posted on Facebook this afternoon that he was charging there, and there were only two other cars with him.

Wow that seems like less usage than a typical summer Friday! He probably got lucky but hopefully it's a good sign for the weekend. I suppose many in the Seattle area might be headed to central and eastern Oregon. That was my original plan as well but then an opportunity to stay with friends in Salem opened up so I'm going there instead.

I was number 7 of 8 slots this afternoon on my way to Oregon. This was at about 2pm and when I walked over to the Country Cousins there was only one slot left. An hour later, there was just my car and two others. That place is going to be a choke point for those traveling back to Seattle on Monday afternoon.

Yeah I do suspect that Monday afternoon will be worse.

Fortunately I don't have a straight job to rush home to :) I'll probably head north on Tuesday.

The big deal about the Centralia site is Bill and Bea's Drive in at 1215 Harrison Ave. They have indoor seating, so it's not just a drive in...Great burgers and other food....Worth the walk from the SC site...

if you are going to walk that far, you should go the opposite direction to Burgerville on the other side of I-5 :)

Just got the last spot at Centralia SC, Sunday afternoon, heading south. On the way down earlier this am, Arlington WA SC only had a couple cars charging but expecting busier ones into Oregon...

    Thanks for the update f-stop!

Any further updates would be appreciated. I'm heading down later tonight and will need to use this one. I probably won't get there till 11pm ish so I'm thinking (hoping!) I'll be late enough that congestion won't be an issue.

You're welcome. Turnover seemed to be pretty good, there were a couple cars behind me when I arrived and when I got back from a short visit to the outlet stores there was only one different one waiting. I'm sure the story will be different at Woodburn tomorrow... (fingers crossed)

    Good luck and safe travels!

Rolled into Centralia just after midnight. Just 3 Teslas plugged in and charging so no problem at this hour.

A squeegee with clean water! Not sure who is responsible for this but thank you.

Yeah that's been there for at least a year now. The garbage can is also a nice touch. At some point we'll have to demand recycling!

I saw the guy who does the sqeegee the other day. Evidently he owns the lot. Nice guy! He also said they just approved 10 more chargers going in on the other side of the lot : )

That's a good thing. I was there on Sunday 9/3 around 6pm and 7 out of the 10 stalls were occupied! That's the busiest I have ever seen it.

I guess you weren't there for the eclipse traffic 2 weeks ago... or maybe the 7 you saw were still making their way home afterwards :)
but seriously, good to hear expansion is coming. And my thanks too to the lot owner/squeegee provider

Even aside from the eclipse, I had seen this one half full (5/10) a couple times on ordinary days. Like 5pm on a Tuesday or whatever. So it was clear that this one would need to be expanded for busy times such as holidays and eclipses. Especially in light of the fact that they haven't put anything else between Seattle and Portland (grrrr...)

IMO, there should be a supercharger just north of Vancouver, WA and another in Roseburg, OR.

at the new casino would be nice (although I've not been thru there to know if it's easy in/out from the freeway).
