Still quite a bit of rain today, but continuing progress.

2 of the Superchargers have been removed from their crates.

Trench partially filled in with conduit run for each stall.

They probably won't pour the foundations for the stalls until it quits raining every day.

Thank you so much for keeping us updated! We live in Richmond, VA and travel to Cincinnati a couple times each year and we will finally be able to do it in a straight line. I'm very excited that its moving so quickly!

What is the deal with the 90' rotated chargers?
The rotated chargers were first noticed on the Little Rock Superchargers. At first, speculation in that thread was that the contractor had erred and rotated all of the charger stations, instead of just the one station that was a side, pull-through station. After much hand wringing about Little Rock possibly needing to be redone, evidence rolled in that this is the new way that they're building them now. The latest speculation is that it's to clear the space directly behind the car so that Model X folks with bike racks or other hitch-mounted accessories won't be impeded by the charging pedestals.

Another thought is it's also to reduce the risk of people backing into the pedestals.

Installations currently under construction in Rochester, NY and Florida City are oriented in the historical direction.
