Work for now seems to have come to a halt.

There is a fence around the transformers, footings and conduit for the stalls.

I've read rumors of a pedestal shortage; I've got no information about such a thing one way or another. It seems odd to me that they could be limited on how many pedestals they've got on hand but ... tesla? Also they may be stuck waiting for permits / final inspection / etc.

Also I drove past the location sunday evening and it was filled with ICE cars -- presumably lots of people going to see a movie on a quiet Sunday evening. Hopefully there won't be any conflict between cars needing to charge and people needing to park for dinner and a movie.

The final word for now is that Thanksgiving 2019 is probably out, and I wouldn't put it in the New Years bank either. But hey there's always 2020...

They have cordoned off another whole section of the lot with barriers / fencing. Not sure what that's for, but it decreases the available parking, so that could be the source of crowding. Hopefully whatever that is for is done before the Supercharger opens.

That cordoned off area is for snow. They set it up every fall.

Swung by today. Seems like there was a delivery. I am hoping the boxes contain the pedestals. Now if they can get the utility to install the transformer on the empty pad....

I wasn't in a good position to get a picture as I drove by, but the charging stations themselves were going up this morning. Three or four were in place (one leaning a bit, not anchored I guess) and a worker was present at 8 am.

Excellent. I thought I saw a worker there on Sunday am (yesterday) but wasn't sure. Shouldn't be long now.

I took this picture this evening (monday Dec 16 at 5:30ish pm). Sorry for the terrible quality...

Looks like some (6?) of the stalls are installed and the utility servicetransformer is installed (far right).

So, probably before the end of the month! See y'all there!

As of this morning, the chain-link fence is down, but the trailers and porta-potty are still there.

Stopped by to check it out last night - construction equipment is seemingly gone, and all stalls are up. No power to the stalls yet, though. No lights on the stalls, and car stated "Ready to Charge" when I plugged in. I noticed that the meter seems to be missing, so perhaps that's the next step in the process?

Checked this morning and still no power. I think the missing meter is for the yet to be installed light posts in the area. I believe the utility meter for the super chargers is in the Tesla charger cabinet.

I saw the guys installing the charging stations yesterday and stopped for a chat. They were contractors from Tennessee. They told me that all the electrical work was complete, but that a Tesla employee would have to come by to validate the installation, including running diagnostics and connecting a Tesla to each of the charging stations. They said that once that was done then the lights on the chargers would go on.

They said that they have been working non-stop installing chargers all over the country and were about to go to Kissimmee Florida for their next stop and ... go kayaking. I had to ask then I saw the two boats sitting in the snow. Here's my picture of the new charges and kayaks (the guys preferred to stay off camera).

The electric company was also doing work on the nearby utility pole at the same time.
