A 12 stall Tesla supercharger is coming to the Clinton Station Diner located at 2 Bank St, Clinton, NJ 08809.

It was approved by the planning board on May 26, 2022:

This location seems ideal for folks traveling between Long Island and the Lehigh Valley, especially since the Bridgewater SC seems to be in suspended animation.

From the minutes, it looks like half of the stalls will be converted from Tesla-specific to general EV chargers.

Thanks! It does seem they want to convert them.. but interestingly within 24 months of the first installation of universal charging stations by Tesla in NJ. So that could be many years from now... and by that time we will have the need to have multiple supercharging stations in every direction, every town.

Two weeks back saw the spot at the entrance of the Clinton station diner being cleaned up, today saw two trucks with several charging stations and transformers(covered in white wrap) waiting to be unloaded, hoping it will be installed and activated in the next month

The first question was: When?
And the answer was: Soon!
Things still seem to work that way.

Pass by this everyday, the superchargers are still mummyfied with no indication of when it's opening. May be I'll walk into the restaurant some day and ask.
