I am not seeing any building permits at that location, but on the other hand, the building permit system seems kind of messed up because I don't see ANY permits for that location (and clearly there would be the occasional permit for the Sheetz itself).

The map display just places the pin at the center of the town (same as you get if you just type in Colfax, NC into Google Maps). It doesn't represent a specific address.

I was driving by tonight anyway and took a peek and see if anything was on site yet. Nope, nothing.
Ok so I hear fences will be up by friday and construction should start after. Lots of progress

Looks like the above permit I found was just an e-Plan. Here's what looks like the building permit, now issued
