I've been scouting this parking lot for years since this is the obvious location for a supercharger in Commerce. Today, I've never been so excited for what I saw. @bmah @MarcoRP Can you update to 20 V3 stalls? Construction started?

Location looks pretty decent considering how busy this parking lot gets during the holidays. Located just adjacent to the Disney store and the parking lot entrance (although not the primary entrance for the lot). Easy access to 5 northbound as well. As a parent, I am concerned about the relative distance to this Disney store however, lol.

Minimal progress so far. Just initial trenching work, and equipment on site as noted earlier

Update - location of the superchargers is actually directly behind the stores (behind back wall of Disney Store). The corner of the parking lot that had the Tesla cabinets is just a staging area. Trenching appears complete, cabinets are in place, pedestal bases are done. Looks like we need conduit, wiring, charging stalls over the bases, and the transformer. Could be weeks, could be months, but a lot of the heavy lifting already done.

I have some information that this site now has the SCE transformer in place so it should be any day that we see this site completed.

Looks like this site is reaching the finishing line should be open any day if the SCE is in fact 100% complete already.

This is typical, unfortunately. There’s a supercharger in San Diego (Mira Mesa) that has had the transformer and construction completed for over 6 weeks - still waiting for functionality

This was great news for me this morning lol. Now I have a SC near my home. Woke up, got in my tesla, and shows commerce had one!

At night they blockade the outlet; for newbies, like us tonight, the best way to enter is via doubletree inn entrance. Drive down from there and there is a small unblocked opening for you to enter to reach the other side where the chargers are. Otherwise, the car map will route you all around to entrances all closed off after hours.

unfortunately there’s still bugs at this one. Charging quickly ramped down to 32kw charge for my model s. This happened two separate days. So charging takes a while here.

Yesterday I went to charge and peaked at 72kw.
