I did a permit search for Concord, since it has a Coming Soon pin on the Tesla Find Us page, and struck paydirt: a 20-stall supercharger with battery storage at 2001 Diamond Blvd, the new Veranda Shopping Center a block from the Willows Shopping Center next to I-680.
The building permitting review was approved on June 28th, but the planning review was due on July 5th but is still in progress according to the website.
The shopping center in which the supercharger will be located is scheduled to open on October 27th. The link has a list of tenants including Whole Foods 365 and several restaurants serving seafood, burgers, pizza, Japanese, and Peet's Coffee.
I was wondering what that new monolithic cubic set of buildings was that I passed on the freeway--yet another shopping center. Don't mind the superchargers there. Good location between Dublin and points north.
Wow, 20 spots will barely service the locals. Expanding nearby Dublin had little effect on the lines due to the rich locals getting their free electricity. I guess there are less rich folks in Concord compared to Dublin and surrounding San Ramon and Blackhawk.
Excellent find emupilot! Thank you for sharing and more SC for the Bay Area. Yippee! Ten years from now we'll all look back and marvel at the excitement with each and every new SC. LOL.
Perfect, now I don't have to stop in Vacaville at the outlet mall devoid of food and the bathrooms that don't open until 10am!
I sent a message to mall management and they responded that the supercharger will open on October 27th with the first phase of the mall. It will be in the southwest corner of the property near (probably behind) the movie theater.
Another movie theatre? The Concord Brenden is only like 2-3 miles away, and the Pleasant Hill Theatre is real close as well.

Having recently moved out to WC from SF, we're looking forward to Super Duper opening up nearby. Mikuni's is a solid addition as well, we stop by the one in Davis on the way back from Tahoe. Jury is still out on EMC but it's popular down in SoCal...
Nice find, just a few miles from my work! I may cruise by here now and then for my "free local supercharging" but of course wouldn't want to wait in or create a line. That would give locals a bad name I suppose.
