@CFinVancouver yeah casino isn't ideal, and even worse if you have a gambling problem! But I guess for non-gamblers you can at least use the restroom and usually casinos have some dining or snack shops or something available.

Yes agreed about Burnaby, it will be very interesting to see where it winds up, I'm struggling to think of a perfect spot. Metrotown parkade would be good for capacity and has plenty of dining options but it really is out of the way unless Kingsway happens to be along your route. There's South Burnaby along Marine, like maybe the mall with Save-on Foods, Starbucks, etc.? For more Northern Burnaby I guess somewhere near what used to be Brentwood mall would be good for freeway access but where exactly I'm not sure.
Even a location such as Lougheed Mall would still be in Burnaby. A new site further from the Coquitlam Supercharger would be better but it would still take some of the pressure off of Coquitlam charger. As others have pointed out, locations are often heavily influenced by which landlords are willing to host new Superchargers.

Oh yeah I wasn't thinking as far east as Burquitlam but yes Lougheed Mall is reasonably easy to access from Highway 1, Lougheed Hwy, and Barnett Hwy. Not bad, though yes a bit close to the Coquitlam SC--but this is obviously not unprecedented, like Guildford mall and Guildford Village for example.

I heard the new Burnaby location will be at the new Brentwood mall which makes sense just right off the hwy 1 but keep in mind that location will be crazy busy with all the new high rises going up there . Lots of Tesla owners will be living around that neighborhood so the line ups will be even longer

Those new highrises all likely have numerous residential charge points within their garages. Here in Seattle that's a requirement for new construction and presumably the same is true for the forward-thinking Vancouver area.
Vancouver now requires 100% of residential parking stalls be "EV Ready". The details are actually super specific and allow for managed system: Electric Vehicles (EVs)

Burnaby requires "Level 2 Charging" for all new residential construction: Electric Vehicles in Burnaby | City of Burnaby

New Superchargers coming to Coquitlam for Q4 2023. Time to start sleuthing, let's find this location ladies and gents.
