Did you notice a Transformer there? That was the question. It's Big. It's Green. It's on that concrete slab at the end of the row of chargers.I drove by yesterday morning and they were still down

YOUR AWESOME!!!! Thank you for the update! The transformer has been installed as of today. Hopefully, it won't be much longer before the Cottonwood Supercharger is live.View attachment 797880
How will we know when its live? Traveling from Sacramento tomorrow and it would be mighty convenient
Thanks for the info! The usual sequence is:
1. It gets turned on. At this point the only way you'll know is if you happen to drive over there and see the pedestals lit up and/or you get a charge.
2. It shows up on the in-car nav database. There's a bit of a twist to this, because your car only refreshes its local copy of this data periodically. Usually seems to happen within a few hours of 1 above.
3. Around this time, it might also show up in the mobile app if it happens to be one of the 10 closest Superchargers (<-- note this used to be the 4 closest Superchargers, but app version 4.8.0 now shows 10).
4. Finally shows up on the Tesla "Find Us" map with correct location, amenities, etc. This usually takes a few days.
There are often exceptions to this sequence, but it usually goes something like that.
Declarations of liveness on TMC ideally include a photo of your car charging from the site.
Bruce.
I did the same thing lolFYI I did pull in there today and gave it a shot. No charging power... but there was some kind of power to the pedestals because the button on the charge handle which unlocks the charge port was working.
Looks like it's showing up in the app now too.The Cottonwood Superchargers are not showing up in navigation yet, but they appear to be live as of 5/4/22. I noticed the pedestals were lit up when I drove by tonight, so I tried one out and it was working.
