Wow, didn’t see this one coming. I grew up in Portland and my wife grew up in Albany and we never heard of Creswell!
Still would like to see a SC in Florence on the coast to reduce the gap on 101.

I normally only refer to pathetic splitters for gaps of 100 miles or more. This only splits a gap of 92.6 miles from Myrtle Creek, OR to Springfield, OR.
However, this merits special attention, because it's currently the largest gap along I-5, and this will "only" reduce that to 79.8 miles. The next largest current gap is 75.2 miles which will be split by Redding, CA (ha!).

However, it should help people who want to stick to v3.. Medford, OR to Creswell, OR will be 153.4 miles, while it's currently 179.5 miles to Harrisburg, OR.

Exactly, like the left hand of Oregon keeps getting extra redundant Superchargers, while the right hand of Oregon still has a 250+ mile unfilled travel route.

Yeah, they usually only do 1 at a time. Maybe just marking to have them all ready but they must be done with their portion at hood river and are ready to move to the next.

There is also an electrical permit for this site. Issued 8/1. Same company as Tillamook, InnovatIve Electrical from ID.

There is a scheduled electrical inspection tomorrow 9/16 so construction has likely started since Blackstone has finished at Hood River. Can anyone in the area confirm with pictures?

The inspection above for Electrical Service was marked as wrong inspection requested but a new inspection for underground electrical was created and approved. Sounds like all the trenching and laying of conduit has been completed.
