8 Supercharger stalls + 2 L2 stalls coming soon to 8850 Washington Blvd in Culver City. An electrical permit was approved on June 14, while its associated building permit is still in plan check.

Confirmed construction underway! V3 chargers on second floor. This is a paid parking structure.

I see 7 pedestals but only 5 spots marked on the ground currently. Will post a few more pics in a bit.

More pics. This isn't a great spot for a charger IMO -- it's right at the bend in a tiny structure, Teslas pulling into the spots will back up traffic flow on a very small tight corner for everyone getting to higher levels of the structure.

All these SC’s coming into Culver City make me wonder why. CC is kind of an island, surrounded by Los Angeles. CC gets electricity from Edison, while LA has LADWP. Is it easier for Tesla to deal with CC & Edison than LA & LADWP?

I would be inclined to agree, to a certain extent. Far more of them live further west, especially Santa Monica. Which is notoriously difficult to deal with.

Still super-excited about this supercharger, about a mile from my home.
I’m thinking of the M&E cos nearby and all the mid-day and after work charging that must go on. It’s great to see the platoon of chargers slated to come online in that area. Shows they’re prepping for the oncoming deluge of Teslas that will land this holiday season

I stopped by last weekend. Three of the pedestals appear to be in, with three other spaces almost ready to go. There are two destination chargers on the opposite wall. Looks like there will be six SC spaces.

I agree that the access is not ideal, and with the much larger Culver Crossing location only 1/2 mile away, I would expect this location to be used mostly by the terminally hip Platform clientele.

Elon Musk on several occasions has stated that by the end of 2021 all superchargers will be powered by renewable sources. Just wondering?
