Supercharger - Cupertino, CA - Stevens Creek Blvd (LIVE 17 Nov 2020, 28 V3 stalls)

From the pictures, the fenced area is at the corner of Saich Way and Alves Drive. I am pretty certain this is the Supercharger construction, but there is a case for waiting until Tesla equipment is on-site or the conduits are placed in an obviously Supercharger compatible configuration.

It is exactly across from the UBreakiFix on Saich Way - extending towards Alves. (My son and I took his cell phone over to UBreakiFix to get the USB port cleaned out. I took the photos while waiting for him to get the work done.) Might drive by again today to see if any more work has been done.

I would guess that this site will have 28 V3 stalls plus 4 ChragePoint L2 stalls. This is because all the Target superchargers have also ChargPoint L2 stations and 28 is the maximum number of stalls in a single V3 installation (7 linked cabinets, 4 stalls per cabinet).

This is the first I've heard of a maximum of 7 linked V3 cabinets. Do you have a source for that?

There is no official source for that, but this was mentioned by NetBrown on Reddit prior to the V3 announcement. So far there is no site with more than 28 V3 stalls. The new Firebaugh site will have 56 V3 stalls, so it will probably consist of two independent groups of cabinets.

Took some progress pictures on Sunday 9/27. Looks like additional trenching has been done, some conduit pipes have been laid.

Update photos taken on Oct 16. Looks like some pedestals are on site now. So there should be no doubt this is a future SuperCharger site. Not sure how many stalls though. Maybe counting the cabinets.

I count 7 cabinets in your last photo. If that's all the cabinets, then its 28 stalls + 4 ChargePoint ports

Oh yeah, there’s another single stall + single CP station that are closer to the entrance. Oddest site ever.

Also October is already over so I presume you mean November? Transformer is on-site and something even had power because I heard humming. They were actively pulling wiring today. Told me 2-3 weeks.

The 6 "skinny" cabinets are the battery backup? Do we know how many kwh those are?
We haven't seen any pictures with batteries yet. All the cabinets in the pictures so far are the supercharger ones and the power distribution cabinets. But neither have we had really comprehensive pictures showing the equipment area from all sides, so they could be hiding behind what we have seen.
