Supercharger - Denison, TX

I’m heading north from Dallas tomorrow morning and have been planning on charging at Dennison and going to Caltoosa from there (model x raven). Anyone have any more info on this “limited service” issue? If its not open or working I can divert to Ardmore but not excited about it.

Good news and bad news. The charger IS online!

However as I figured they are tearing up the concrete. So 3 spots are blocked.

I waited 20 min here - and it only charged at 80kwh. Normally get 200+

Attached pictures. Gas station is coming along quick!

Avoid if possible until concrete fixed.

Thanks for the report. Greatly appreciated. id Prefer to avoid taking 35 north through OKC, but obviously, that’s what we’ll do.

I'd be interested to know what that journey is like. My brother lives in Catoosa and I've not taken the Y up there to show it off yet. I was planning on taking the normal route up 75/69/Indian Nations when I finally did go, but I've also considered 35W and OKC for a change

I just wish they'd get the Henryetta OK one online

Oklahoma supercharger game is pretty weak. They have yet to drop in an OKC supercharger that isn’t out of the way for I35 drivers and I44 is barren on the whole southern sector.

Agreed. I barely make it from catoosa to Denison on 100% charge. If it wasn’t for my CCS adapter and Francis Electric I wouldn’t risk it. They are all over - but expensive, slow, and 1/2 the time don’t work.

Henryetta has been “coming soon” for 6 years. They need to step it up and finally build to fill in that huge gap!

All the chargers are functional. The gas station, stores and restaurants are still under construction. (Oct 1, 2022)
Lots of space and there was a cop on duty. Not sure what that was for but I guess it stops people from vandalizing the chargers.
Google reviews shows several people stating 250kW but my charge was limited to 56kW only.

Good pics. You can see where they cut the concrete.

How does inside look? Think it will open by thanksgiving?

Thanks. There wasn’t much activity going on. Just a handful of workers. The inside is still a mess. If they move quickly they could get it up and running by Thanksgiving.
My guess, it would be New Years before they open.
