Permit application for a V3 supercharger station in Doral FL has been submitted, this is at the WAWA on 87th Ave and 33rd St, about 1 mile from the Palmetto expressway. The Colombian restaurant next door is also pretty good! Nice to see more options in South FL.

There are those who think Miami-Dade is a trifle over-served already. Lately I have found several of the newer sites are often very busy. In my experience there are peak time waits in several already. This one is located just to the northwest side of MIA so is ideally located for a large portion of Miami logistics business and a large concentration of businesses.

FWIW, just drove by, there are no indications of any kind of construction work. The new permit shows “fees due”.

I stopped at the Wawa today. Still no sign of construction and permit still shows "fees due".

Judging by the amount of cars parked during lunch time (99% full), it seems like this location will be a challenge to keep ICE out of the charging spots.

Went by today - still no sign of construction. I assume this will be on the north side of the building, but time will tell.

Well the building permit was finally issued today 8/25, so let’s see how long it takes to be built.

Today saw power cabinets and 8 stalls installed and plastic wrapped, nobody around to ask about status but it seems quite ready for inspection.

Just charged there at lunch today. Only 1 other person came by for a few minutes.

Easy access in and out, and not far off my lunch route

This is brilliant, going to make going to the Miami area a lot easier - along with the other superchargers opening up (or planned) in South Florida.
