After two weeks of seemingly no activity, today the construction fence came down and the utility transformer is confirmed to be in. This may actually be active. Need locals to start checking it daily!

The station is up and running. Easy on and off the interstate and close to Target and Panera. My car doesn’t show it exists yet.

A comment on reddit suggests there is battery storage at this site. Can anyone confirm if this is correct? (The supercharger cabinets are often mistaken for battery storage by some people so it's quite possible this is an error)
Thanks Chuq for the alert. I was out of the country so I couldn't check this out right away, but finally did today.
NOPE. There are just the standard SC cabinets plus two more for switchgear. Nothing anywhere close by either. Perhaps someone saw the two extra cabinets and thought they were for battery storage. Heck, I routinely encounter people who think the power conversion cabinets (3 x V3, in this case) are batteries
A disappointing result from my trek out here but not at all surprising.
