I just finished my walk. The fence is still up. The orange netting fence is across the entrance. The portapotty is still there. The Supercharger monoliths are still not complete with screws. The power meter still shows zero power consumed. And the auto map does not display the location

Bottom line is the Supercharger is still a construction site. There is high voltage inside the monoliths and since the monoliths are not completely contained the possibility of injury and breakage has a potential of injury and damage to the person and site. Using it is irresponsible.

Geez, you really are raining on their parade with your "responsible adult around dangerous areas" attitude ....

Yea, that was my point.... AEP has finished their project, and marked it as complete (which is why AEP has marked the site as active). Now the site owner, Tesla, has to complete their portion of the project before the station comes online.

Was just there, someone obviously moved the temparray barrier to try charging. The workers told me while they were setting up Tuesday that someone pulled in around them and plugged in, they had to chase them off.

That's going to be me in about a week if they don't get the damn thing up and running :)

I walked by last night and noticed that there is no red Tesla glow on the monoliths and the street lamps were not on. That explains why the power meter still reads zero

Status update from my walk:

TLDR: No change

1. Screws are not installed in monoliths
2. 1A, 1B, 2A... not installed on monoliths
3. Tesla Service number decal not installed on monoliths
4. Power meter shows zero power consumed
5. Temporary chain link fence still surrounds area
6. Portapotti still on site
7. Orange cones and plastic fencing still mostly blocking entrance

It’s still a construction site.

Thanks for the update. Will save me a half hour diversion tonight!

I might go by and check it out myself tomorrow night or early Friday.

Geeze, all the negativity! This is one of few charging locations where the bathroom is conveniently close!

Of course you may end up walking home if you really need a charge, but that's minor.
