Kind of an odd location for a Supercharger (next to Sláturhúsid, a slaughterhouse?). There is a campground with a restaurant nearby.
There are only two temporary Superchargers here. Another car was here when we arrived and we got the message about it being a busy location and the charge level was lowered to 80%. They are v2 so they are paired and we only got 55 kW initially. Once the other car left, we got closer to 100 kW.
Hopefully Tesla will add a few more Superchargers as this location will probably get busier as other Superchargers are added around Iceland. This definitely make traveling the ring road easier. Takk, Tesla!
