We went by late last night heading back down from Sacramento to Lodi where we live. Plugged in just to see if they were running yet, but no charge! It is in a decent parking lot, walking ‍ distance to walmart and a decent taco shop on the corner.

The box on the pallet is a distribution voltage junction box. That is how they will tap into the existing underground line. It will require a scheduled outage to install that and supply power to the transformer that was installed on the pad.

Dropped by this morning. Still no power. There were a couple contractors there that worked on the project and they seemed surprised it wasn't on yet. Is Tesla waiting for a specific date to turn a bunch on (like the Canada intercontinental)? They have lots of projects across the country, so maybe Easter?

Not on by Easter. Next significant date will be April 22nd when Tesla announces earnings. I guess we will have to wait...
