Pretty Cool!! Now living in East Bay with two Superchargers Live (Richmond, Emeryville) and two coming (El Cerrito, Berkeley) I feel like I will be in heaven when I buy my Tesla!

Well...Emeryville isn't live just yet. :) For those who have been there since the recent resumption of construction activity, have you seen any sign of a PG&E transformer? It'd likely be on that concrete pad with the bollards (sp?) around it.

Bruce.

Oh lol, you're right.

But this is interesting, when I look at this reddit thread about the Fremont 250kW supercharger, it is also labeled at 500V/350A. o_O

Yea you're right. Not sure what they consider nominal then. Here's EA's 150 kW and 350 kW and that doesn't seem to match nameplate either.

I’ve only charged at Superchargers a few times so I’m not 1000% sure (I’m a new owner) but yes the cable did feel considerably thinner and lighter.

I also plugged in my car for s***s and giggles and nothing happened :p
Well, the charger boxes are still wrapped, and there is no transformer:

Also, the charger has been already tagged:

And the two previous ADA handicapped parking spaces have been relocated:

The spot #12 charger is on the side but don't allow to enter from the front, however it could be helpful to use if you have a hitch mounted bike carrier.

And of course, the supercharger was already ICEd (It's what you said when someone park without plugging...)

Looking at a photo from a local Facebook group taken this morning. It has the backs of the pedestals off, charger cabinets unwrapped, cones and caution tape across the stalls, definitely one and possibly two work trucks there. Can't see from the photo whether there's a transformer or not.

Given how close and polished everything seems, is it fair to say the supercharger's "opening" is set to come before the end of Q1? Even earlier? Roughly how much more to do is there after a transformer is installed?

If you read through some of the other threads on this forum, you'll see that it's pretty unpredictable. It could be anywhere from a week to months away. Nobody outside Tesla knows for sure, and there's a fair chance people inside Tesla don't either. End of Q1 is probably realistic based on other sites, but I wouldn't put money down either way.

The usual sequence from this point is something like: Finish construction, inspections and signoffs, install utility transformer, hookup and testing by Tesla, energize, add to the in-car Nav and Tesla Web site.

Somehow I didn't see this platform when I was there

I thought THIS was where the Transformer was going to go

The cabinets are no longer covered

Sadly they haven't been padlocked yet, though I did let Tesla know yesterday before I posted here today

Or at least padlocked correctly

Looks like we're getting closer in the sequence. Let's hope the goal is to finish by end of Q1 for some better supercharger deployment numbers to boost that stock price back up? :)
