I'm fairly surprised by many of the responses I'm seeing. The queue is for a charging station not a parking spot isn't it? I would confirm the woman's station is not working (some new owners have trouble connecting) and give up my spot because it isn't really mine in my mind. I guess I'm a sucker, or what we used to call a gentleman.

Seriously though. You gotta have an in-your-face attitude or you'll get walked over. So everyone behaves that way. It took me many years to see this after moving away. My relatives who live on the island (that's Long Island for the uninitiated) still behave that way.

Of all the possible responses he goes with the typical Jersey screw you approach.
This isn't the Sopranos. A simple "no, sorry" works just as well, with fewer words and facial /hand gestures. Most people inside or even outside NY/NJ/CT don't communicate this way. It's not funny, cute, or endearing to people who left there for better places.
