Saw this on Eastern Canada Superchargers. Thanks @SmartElectric. @BlueShift for visibility. Can anyone locate these chargers?
Do we really need a new thread for every Supercharger that comes along?!? Why not just post in the Eastern Canada Supercharger thread.
No this sub thread of Canadian Superchargers is fine. Otherwise we'll have no idea where the photos go. Next, any news about Toby Coke SuC?
It's been a convention in many other forum sections to have a thread for every location. Sensible or not, it's all captured into this special subforum, so I recommend just rolling with it!
Not really feasible. There are things I can do, like pin a few threads to the top of a subforum. And I can move, merge, wnd rename threads. So a mass reorganization isn’t in the cards. Is there something specific you had in mind?
If I had to guess based on other locations we've seen lately I'd expect to see it around Sherway Gardens. Makes sense with the 427, QEW and Gardiner. Maybe off North Queen where Sail etc is?
I dropped by sherway today and can confirm they've begun construction. I counted 10 boxes, so it looks like there will be 10 stalls. Exact coordinates are 43.6142141,-79.5541970
Drove by Sherway today -saw the new site and happened to see a lot of Tesla’s in the parking lot. Seems like a great location in terms of highway access. I suspect, like the Markville Mall location, icing might be a problem, especially during peak times.
Great location in my opinion between Toronto and the western suburbs/Hamilton. Will be a busy location though!
You're right. It appears that this will be the only one along the QEW but there will be several on the northern highways like the 407 and 401. The Markham and Concord SCs aren't too far apart and they are both very close to the 407. The Meadowvale one with presumably be by the junction of the 401 & 407. We don't know where the Mississauga one will be yet - maybe on the 403 by Square One?
I'm at the site now. There are 10 SC cabinets - this will be a 20 stall site. They've used some impressive horizontal drilling techniques to power up this site. All the conduit is in place now, awaiting the initial concrete pour. This site is looking like mid-December at the earliest.
