Pretty sure 'The Farm' is not happening.

That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking. Sure feels like Tesla is neglecting its Australian customers with no communication and still having to rely upon destination charging for long distance travel to Queensland. Why not dispel the mystery & accelerate sales with some information that surely must be locked in by now? Thanks once again to My Eye Specialist Ballina Day Surgery and Caloundra Local Agent.

Yes the Maca Castle is a bit off the beaten track since the highway upgrade, about a 5km detour via Tamarind Drive & Hinterland Way. Still possible I guess but it’s definitely not easy to get to like it once was.
Even more reason they (Maca Castle) would be keen to attract some additional visitors to their shop/cafe even if they don't go in to the park itself? They also have space out the front.

Other chargers such as Goulburn are off the main highway (albeit not as far).

The vast majority of people using Superchargers up the coast will be following sat Nav and need to stop so a bit of a detour isn't going to put people off.

Good food should be a prerequisite. The Maca Castle isn't terrible but nothing like The Farm. Even the take-away is very good & not outrageously priced. Of course, given the assertion of completing Sydney to Brisbane by what is now only 12 weeks away, unfortunately food is probably less of a priority.

The macadamia castle already has an EV point and a huge solar roof, so the ideology of having a supercharger may fit well with them. The food is okay there, the coffee is good. It is further off the highway, but not by too much - not if there's a supercharger there!

Yes I agree the McCastle is the most logical choice and offers the opportunity to explore the beautiful surrounding area including Bangalow and Newrybar. Incidentally there’ll soon be another top notch restaurant & café across the road from Harvest in Newrybar.
