Supercharger - Fairfield, CA - 3001 Travis Blvd (LIVE 1 Mar 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

A 3rd Supercharger is coming to Fairfield, CA. This one is at the Raley’s at 3001 Travis Blvd, kitty corner to the existing Supercharger on Holiday Lane. Find Us map shows Q3 2022 so with the recent approval this might move quickly. Contractor is North Valley Engineers.

There is also a second electrical permit for an EV charging station applied a couple weeks after the Tesla one but approved earlier. Hard to tell if it is a non-Tesla site or not. Corestates Construction is the contractor who I believe has done Tesla stuff before but I could be way off base.

Anyone charging at Holiday want to check out the Raley’s parking lot?

Idk I frequent fairfield enough and it’s always been quite busy. Enough so that I’m looking ahead of time to see if Vacaville is a better option. Glad both are getting V3, takes a lot of the guessing out.

Did you happen to count the number of stalls? I only see 3 V3 cabinets which leads me to think 12 stalls but the switchgear cabinet looks quite large unless it is a Powerpack (not a megapack). Surprised no one noticed this construction sooner. Looks like we’re just waiting on PG&E.

Did you happen to count the number of stalls? I only see 3 V3 cabinets which leads me to think 12 stalls but the switchgear cabinet looks quite large unless it is a Powerpack (not a megapack). Surprised no one noticed this construction sooner. Looks like we’re just waiting on PG&E.

I counted 12 stalls and 3 cabinets also. I don’t know what that huge cabinet is, I was suspecting battery backup but I really don’t know

I am from Fairfield. Holiday Lane SC is very busy on the weekends. The additional chargers at this location will be very helpful. Easy on/off I-80 in both locations. V3 is an additional bonus.

Can you check to see if construction has progressed from the pictures above in the last 2 weeks? The only thing not visible for either set of chargers are the transformers. And maybe striping the parking stalls.

Went by today. Still no transformer.

No huge differences I can see since the last pictures posted a few months ago but here’s a refresh. Still has construction fencing and random other stuff. Still with empty transformer pad.

I suggest moving the pin on supercharge.info for this site…it’s is on the east side of Raley’s between the building and the street.

I was wondering if maybe there’s some dependence on the EVgo chargers and the thing that looks like an underground transformer vault? (See last two of my photos.)

Would have been nice if this site was up yesterday. It looked like the last photos still though - no change. We had to charge at the V2 existing site yesterday and did have to wait (only 1 minute though) but of course we were paired so even with a pre-conditioned battery at 13% we were getting only 72 kW. Definitely a need to get this new site up and running.
