Tesla is proposing a 12 stall supercharger installation at the Fairfield Centre Shopping Plaza with an address of 696-700 Post Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824.

Zoning permit PZ-22-0448 was issued on 1/23/2023. This is presumably the Q2 2023 location on Tesla's find us map.

this is my home base area. It is clear Tesla is proactively prepping for the future by overlapping superchargers.

Electrical permit E-23-0174 was just approved for this project today. Given a Q2-23 target on the findus map (which can always change) it's possilbe the project could start soon (or potentially already be underway).

This project could start any day - fencing and porta-potty on-site along with some pavement markings.

Really need to focus on the Merritt in Fairfield County. The v2s in Stamford and Greenwich are not enough.

An update from Facebook confirms the site is indeed under construction with trenching, pad work and tesla equipment onsite. Would love photos if/when available.

A few images from facebook - the site appears to be construction complete, possibly still needing some wiring. Seal coating and/or re-striping still needed as well. No transformer (and possibly no transformer pad; hard to tell.

Posted today on fb. Transformer is in; looks like electrician onsite possibly doing secondary wiring. Unclear if a meter is present or still needed from photo.
