Supercharger - Farmville, VA

Yeah!! So excited for this one. My parents live out in that neck of the woods and it’s just far enough from any of the existing superchargers that I have to be really diligent about SoC when I go out for a visit. This will be a bit convenience for me and close a huge gap in Central VA coverage.

This is another US Numbered Highway Supercharger, on US-460 and US-15. It appears that Tesla is now at the point of looking beyond the Interstates, to other important routes.

Safe to say this is our Farmville Supercharger. Only question is where exactly on the property will it be? I won't be there till late June, so someone else will have to scope it out.

There are several sites in VA, DC and MD in this state. I suspect someone from Tesla will come along and commission them soon.

Hopefully the world opens up in time for our late June visit. If not....Christmas, it is.

I little birdie told me that there is a problem with this site. The V3 sites must be three phase. look at the picture top right corner. The power pole only has the one wire, it's single phase not three phase. The power company has to bring it in. We could be waiting a while on this one.

Any updates? This one just became more important to us. Trading the 3 for an X on Monday, and the following week, the in-laws are having an outdoor, socially-distanced anniversary party, so we'll be there.

Would be nice to have this one instead of 24A.....
