So i went last night to charge and it worked perfectly well. But i noticed that the price is DOUBLE of what other superchargers in Texas are........is that normal?
So this is what i charged Power Tier 1 @ $0.20/min Power Tier 2 @ $0.40/min which is not what it shows on the cars navigation. Power Tier 1 @ $0.12/min Power Tier 2 @ $0.24/min literally double......this is the highest that i have seen a supercharger.
8.25% Supercharging Fee ±Power Tier 2 $0.40 / min Supercharging Fee ±Power Tier 1 $0.20 / min Unit Costs Excluding Tax $0.3695 / min $0.1848 / min What pisses me off is that the cars navigation doesn't say that price. Its misleading.
So i called Tesla, and they confirmed that there is an error in pricing. They are working on updating it to the proper pricing of 0.12/min and 0.24/min instead of that crazy high price.
Although its not related to the superchargers, I did notice that Fort Worth got one of 350kwh electrify America charging stations over by the Sams Club by Ridgmar Mall. I think it was CCS and Chademo adapters, but forgot which was which for the high power charger. It looks like it is ready to go.
It’s been open for awhile. I have used it when Fort Worth was completely ICEd. CHAdeMO is unfortunately limited to 50kW.
Looks like the FW supercharger has been down the last 2-3 days according to the Tesla iPhone app. Anyone know why?
We've been having rolling blackouts across the area due to the winter storm. That's probably why. And, when I say rolling blackouts I mean that the power at my house has been out for 11 and 12 hours at a time.
