Supercharger - Fremont, CA - Tesla Factory (LIVE, 4 V2 + 8 V3 stalls)

If someone goes to this event, be on the lookout for a) solar panels, b) grid storage, and c) evidence of present or future facilities for battery swapping. If any SC site were to have all three, Fremont would be most likely.

This just in -- Fremont is apparently "between cities" as part of the Supercharger charter.

There are chargers at Asilomar in Pacific Grove. Nice place to spend some time, while charging....walk by the ocean, etc.

The Sunset center in downtown Carmel has a lone Blink charger in the parking lot.

During our first road trip from Fremont down HWY 1 planning the route very conservatively led me to stay at the Comfort Inn near the Monterey Airport, they have 3 chargpoint chargers at the airport & its a block away from the hotel, I didn't need the charge but wanted to see how charpoint worked, I ended charging for 45 minutes at 30A while watching planes land at night.

I understand the SC is near the Customer Delivery Center, which is in the center of the long factory, on the Mission Blvd. side.

The Delivery Center is off Kato Rd. which runs as the frontage road along I-880 between Fremont Blvd. and Mission Blvd.

I'm hoping this will take a little pressure off of the Gilroy SC until they roll out the additional 8 bays at the latter. On weekends, you figure there are lots of folks who have just taken delivery of their cars and want to drive down to Gilroy just to test out the SC to "see if it works" or to stop there on the way to points south. If some of these same folks can do this test at the factory, that might help others who really need to charge at Gilroy.

But I was also really happy to hear about the new supercharger. We are considering moving soon and some of the candidates would make a direct run from Harris Ranch a bit dicey. But with a supercharger in Fremont, we'd be in good shape.

The Crowne Plaza hotel where TESLIVE was held was putting in changers. They were not done in time for the EVent but it might be worth checking/bugging them now.

I am in LA and I got the Pebble Beach invite, but not Manhattan Beach or Fremont.
Crowne plaza does not have chargers yet.

i live 20 miles from the factory and got this email, will be there tomorrow and take pics of event and infrastructure for any signs of battery swap, etc.

What time is the event? Is there an exact location in the email (same as factory pickup area?). I plan on taking a trip up north tomorrow @ 5pm-ish, and would like to stop by here on the way up if the event is over by then.
