I posted this here, thinking it was related, but I realized a new Gainesville supercharger was being planned as well, so I figured it deserves it’s own thread for discussion.

This is a really nice location, although there aren't as many food options, it will definitely be more convenient for a quick charge.

No construction yet. They might be waiting until Alachua's is finished and use the same installation crew.

Alachua's SC is almost done (I-75 exit 399)! The fences are down. Hopefully the Gainesville construction (I-75 exit 390) is next.

Alachua's SC is active! So, it's just a matter of time before they begin construction for Gnvl 2. Hopefully before Gator football season.

Update: Still no sign of construction at this location. The permit was approved back in February 2022. I'll keep everyone posted as things develop.

Construction seems to have moved pretty rapidly on this location. I checked just a few weeks ago, and there was nothing happening. I stopped by today, and the chargers are installed. There's still more work to be done,, but it shouldn't be long before this station is online!

Construction is progressing.
The site is easily available driving west on 39th Av (FL-222) and turning left at the Circle K gas station at the NW 92nd Court traffic light. Or, driving east passing I-75, going about one block, and turning right into the driveway between the Circle K and the Burger King.

It's almost finished! I give about another month. It's in the parking lot of the Burger King at exit 390 on I-75. And they're mostly pull-forward stalls.
