Anyone plan on checking on this site? @SigNC ? @DarkNightP3D ?

It looks really close to being completed in the last picture. I was going to make a trip out there in the next day or so to check on it if no one else has plans to do so.

Edit: Looks like someone from FB checked on it 3 days ago and it looked like it was online, but it isn't actually powered up. I've yet to see a good picture of the power meter from the FB group so not sure of it's status.

I may be able to swing by either this morning on my way to Wilmington or this evening on my way back. I tried to check on the Warsaw location on Thursday when I was headed to Wilmington but they were doing road work at that exit and actually had the police blocking it so you could not get off. I was a bit shocked they’d actually close a ramp to one of the largest exits between Raleigh and Wilmington, but that’s what they did. Hopefully today I’ll get a chance to check on both of them.

Charging here now, it's still not on the in car navigation. Charging speeds as expected for my older pack and higher SoC.

The location is a bit tricky, kind of best to go a little past the SCNB and down the side street.

3 picnic tables but none in the shade. You'd have to sit on the curb under a tree for that. There is a little bit of green space with a doggie poop bag and trash can so that also a nice touch.

PSA to anyone going there. When you leave and are attempting to get back onto Highway 42, watch out. There’s a huge freaking pothole where the street between Smithfield’s and the gas station meets Hwy 42. I’ve seen tons of people drive into unexpectedly.

So happy to see this! thats my exit. Do we know what version it is V3 or V2?
This location has V3 Supercharging stations

We know this for a few reasons just by looking at them:
  • Thinner Charging cables (which are liquid cooled) are used instead of the older v2 thicker style
  • v3 Type cabinets ( Those tall white boxes with the perforated square holes on top for the heat pump)
  • 4 charger stations per cabinet which is standard for v3 type setups (8 chargers, 2 cabinets)
