Actually thinking about it.. its probably in a really good spot..When the Spirit of Tassie ferry moves down to Geelong (Corio dock) you will be able to charge at the new Corio charges just before the freeway both before you depart and on your return as you head back to the city

Easier to/from the North.
But you can just use the Bacchus Marsh Rd exit and Plantation Rd from the South.

Agree it's ideally placed for the new ferry dock.

Corio!? Yikes! Make sure you keep your car in sight while charging. That's got to be one of the sketchiest parts of G-town!

Lol, it's a pretty open area near the highway so not that dodgy. Now if it was located in solar drive Whittington that would be worth worrying about.

I dropped by the site on Sunday afternoon and took another update pic. Looks like 6 stalls judging by the bolt locations. The conduits will run to the main switchboard, which is the green box under the tree next to the red rooster drive-through. There are 3 boxes written on the ground next to the conduit labelled AC, DC and CP. I assume this is where the control cabinet will go. Be nice if they turn out to be V3 but I'd understood V3 have 4 stalls per cabinet.

I'd always thought V2 was more likely for these extension sites, so older S/X without the upgrade can use them.

Whereas Toombull and Fortitude Valley are relatively close.

Tesla supercharger map has been updated to now show Q2 ETA for Geelong. Others pending in Vic don’t appear to have been bumped which is a good sign they’re on track I hope.

I popped by there yesterday morning and they were hard at work. Conduits have been run all the way through and they're doing more concrete form work. Once cabling is in they should be ready for the equipment to arrive. Definatley Q2 completion at this rate.
